The Institutional Self-Assessment report summarizes the process taken by the SAC committee to gather information from the various departments in the university in a bid to assess the functioning of the  university after the two previous self-assessments done (2015 & 2019) and feedback from the NCHE,  and also in readiness for the Charter application to the National Council for Higher Education.

• Currently CIU has a functional QA committee to strengthen planning and implementation of learning and teaching . This comprised all Deans, Academic Registrar and Finance Director.

360 degree departmental Policy compliance

• This was done to ensure that the department follow the policies and various guideline in execution of their operational  and strategic level

• CIU had so far more than 3000 alumni. We have kept in touch with our alumni through different platforms e.g What’s app ( main, SON cohort,AKESU), Linked in, Google groups. We also support on followup  with documents and recommendations after graduation  .
• The Alumni constitution is in the  final review stages.
• The recent tracer study 2021-2022 , 86.7% were employed
